3890 AM Texoma Traders Net

This net meets on 3890 kHz every Saturday morning at 0700 Central (early check-in beginning at 0630) to encourage the use of AM operation. We offer a great opportunity for you to buy, sell, and trade vintage gear. We have operators in over a 5 state area operating everything from vintage gear, solid-state, converted military and vintage AM broadcast transmitters.    The µBitx is a HF (3-30MHz) all-band SSB and CW transceiver kit.   It is supplied as a completely pre-populated and tested circuit board by the manufacturer (trading as HF Signals).   The purchaser needs to assemble the board into an enclosure and wire up sockets, encoder and potentiometer and provide a power supply in order to get the transceiver working....  READ MORE

   I've gotten some really good deals on vintage electronics here.  The user interface is a bit clunky and confusing, but you can find collectables for a very reasonable bid.  Schulman Auctions uses a St. Louis UPS Store to pack and ship items which are not picked up.  Don't cringe: these guys know how to pack, with lots of large bubble packing....  READ MORE
